The Fiskars Project Orange Thumb grant application is now open! Apply today for a chance to receive $3,500 in gift cards and tools to support your garden. Garden projects should have goals of promoting healthy and sustainable food sources, community collaboration, or neighborhood beautification. Applications are due February 10, 2017.

Participate in the Evergreen Packaging Carton 2 Garden Contest to win funds for your Learning Garden! This fun contest helps your students get creative with recycling by re-purposing milk and juice containers into garden creations. Schools can win up to $5,000 in prizes; start planning and creating now so you’re ready to submit an entry by April 12, 2017!

Applications are open for the first round of NEA Foundation Student Achievement Grants for 2017. $2,000-$5,000 grants are available to improve the academic achievement of students in U.S. public schools in any subject area, but preference is given to projects that incorporate school farming, aquaponics, and global learning. Apply by February 1, 2017.
