Since 2011, The Kitchen Community has provided a real food education to students in underserved schools across the country. We have grown from a handful of Learning Gardens and a staff of five in our hometown of Boulder, Colorado, to over 400 schools and a growing team in Chicago, Los Angeles, Memphis, Indianapolis, and Denver.

The Garden Educator’s primary responsibility is to work with the TKC Program Team to deliver TKC’s school garden programming to Chicago Learning Gardens. Our work ensures school-based Garden Teams have the skills, materials, personnel and confidence to successfully grow vegetables and teach in their Learning Gardens.
