Summer/Fall Garden Harvest Workshop

Summer Harvest Workshop: September 28th at Butler University Laboratory School 60

Our summer harvest workshop will provide garden team members and other school staff who participate in growing food or teaching through the Learning Garden with the hands on skills needed to harvest, track, and prepare the delicious food from your Learning Gardens! We will cover how to harvest all of the fruits and veggies in your garden, how to track and report those harvest, and finally how to prep and eat them with your class! We will also briefly go over how to plant your Winter Garden, and throughout the workshop we will demonstrate how you can engage your students in process.

Everyone who attends will automatically be entered for a chance to win a tasting kit for your Learning Garden!!

The workshop will be held on Thursday, September 28th from 5:30-7:30 pm and free of charge to all TKC network teachers and garden team members.

Materials provided to each school: Seeds for your winter planting, updated winter planting plan, recipes, planting strings, and more!
